Pie in the sky? Buy a quality independent room next to CBD for less than $500,000. Only in Australia can you get the pie.

Buying a home next to the CBD for $500,000 is a fantasy for many buyers
It would have been possible many years ago, but now you can only buy a toilet with it.
But one place in Australia achieves that. And the house is not a shabby one.

It's disappointing, it's not Sydney or Melbourne
Just 5.1 kilometers from downtown Perth, the real estate reports, prices are extremely affordable.
The median price of a stand-alone house in Glendalough is a $422,000
And the Rivervale district, 5.5 kilometers from downtown, is also a bargain. The median price of a stand-alone house is 495 thousand Australian dollars, all less than 500 thousand Australian dollars. There are real estate melbourne eastern suburbs.

Tuart Hill is about 6.5 kilometers from downtown, with a median price of 485,000 Australian dollars.
The median price of an independent house in nearby Osborne Park is a $445,000.
The median price of Belmont, 7 kilometers east of downtown, is 45.3 Australian dollars.
It's really easy to pick an area and the price is cheap.
And the houses are not shabby, well-built and not too far from the CBD.

" it is increasingly difficult to find a home priced under a $500,000 near downtown, and people in Perth still has many options compared to other capital cities," said Cameron Kusher, head of CoreLogic research.

Earlier this year, the International research agency Demographia released the latest Annual Demographia International Housing Affordability Survey, 14th Annual Demographia International Housing Affordability Survey
Sydney, with the second-lowest housing affordability, its "price-to-income ratio" is 12.9. Melbourne came in fifth (9.9), with Adelaide in 16th (6.6), Brisbane in 18th (6.3) and Perth in 21th (5.9).

What does "price-to-income ratio" mean?
That's the ratio of the median annual income to the median home price. In other words, a person who wants to buy a mid-priced property in Sydney needs 12.9 years to live without food or drink. Other cities followed suit.
Another study pointed out that the median price of Australian houses has reached about 880,000 Australian dollars.
In this case, living in a more remote area has become an option for many people. The closer the area is to the CBD, the more expensive it is.
So if you only have a budget of about a $500,000 and want to live as close to CBD as possible, what options do you have in the states? Our company provides houses in Australia Melbourne for sale.

The median price at Bar Point, 39.5km from Sydney's CBD, is just a $380,000. Spencer is 45.8 kilometers away from CBD, with a median price of 390,000 Australian dollars. A bit further, the median price of Gunderman, which is 51.8 kilometers away from CBD, is 520,000 Australian dollars.

Melbourne is in much better shape than Sydney: people can buy a house real estate in Dallas and Coolaroo, about 16km from CBD with 460 thousand Australia dollars. The farther Rockband, Werribee and Mickleham are about 28 kilometers away from Melbourne's CBD, and the median price is between 430,000 and 490,000 Australian dollars.

The same price is available in Brisbane for properties closer to CBD. Rocklea is the closest region to Brisbane's CBD with a median price of less than half a million, only nine kilometers away. The median price of Hemmant and Archerfield, a little more than 10 kilometers from CBD, is 500,000 and 380,000, respectively.

In Adelaide, many areas within 5km of CBD have median prices below 500,000 Australian dollars, such as Hindmarsh (440,000), Cowandilla (500,000), Renown Park (480,000), West Richmond (460,000) and Devon Park (480,000). There are homes for sale in Australia.

Canberra, Australia's capital, is similar to Darwin, with properties under a $500,000 concentrated in areas 10 kilometers from the CBD. The median home price hovered between 450,000 and 520,000. The only exception is Darwin's Moulden. It is 15 kilometers from Darwin's CBD, with a median price of 380,000 Australian dollars.

Hobart, the capital of the state of Tasmania, which is isolated from the mainland, has a more friendly median price compared with other cities. A $440,000 is enough to buy a property in Montagu Bay, 3 kilometers from CBD. Warrane, 5 km distance from CBD, the median house price is the lowest---- $280000.

Generally speaking, it is difficult to find a house under 500,000 Australian dollars. But if you carefully "pick up the leak", you may have the unexpected harvest.
